Redditch Business Improvement District (BID) hosted its first networking event this month (September) which saw business owners from Redditch and surrounding towns come together at coffee house, Aroma on Church Green East.
BID manager, Muj Rahman and BID board members, were also joined by representatives from Redditch Council, the Rotary Club, the Police and Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) as well as landlords in the town centre.
The informal networking event was an opportunity for attendees to hear more about Redditch BID and the work it is doing in the local business community and how the community can work together to improve Redditch as a whole.
Muj Rahman, BID manager, said: “It was a fantastic turnout and great to see so many people attend our first event. It was a good opportunity for the local business community to come together and share thoughts and ideas on how we can really put Redditch on the map and make it a great place to work and visit. The passion and enthusiasm shown by guests was incredible and we look forward to welcoming more businesses to our next event.”
Redditch BID will be hosting its next networking event on Thursday 18th November. If you are interested in hosting a Redditch BID networking event, please contact hello@redditchbid.co.uk to discuss the opportunity.
